Author: Lands' End8 Dec 11, 11:04 AM

Dean Bates has joined us as our new National Account Manager!
Dean has a wealth of experience of managing accounts for large companies such as Puma and joined us last month.
Although he has only just settled in, he has already been out to visit some of our customers and is eager to get out and meet everyone else! Dean will be visiting our clients to discuss their current corporate clothing needs, whether there are any new products that might suit them better, discussing quantity discounts and generally making sure that we are doing everything to ensure ordering your uniform is as quick and easy as possible.
Dean is also eager to meet any new clients who might want to hear what Lands’ End Corporate and Teamwear can offer, see some samples and discuss the different product and ordering options we can offer.
If you would like to make an appointment with Dean to discuss anything from embroidered polo shirts to full uniforms for your team, please drop us a line.
Winter 'Survival' Hints and Tips
Author: Lands' End6 Dec 11, 04:44 PM

With forecasters warning that more snow is likely to fall over the next few days, the UK is set for a ‘big freeze’. Severe weather warnings are being issued all over the country for snow, ice, dangerously low temperatures and strong winds! Whilst those of us lucky enough to work in an office can add a jumper to our work wear and turn up the heating, for those who work outside or in warehouses, it is often unwelcome news.
With that in mind, here are some of our ‘Business Winter Survival’ tips and tricks.
Corporate Gifts

Christmas is coming and for lots of businesses that means an uplift in sales and some very busy weeks, followed by some well earned bank holidays!

It’s also the time to be thinking about buying gifts for family and friends and in some cases, your staff and customers.
Corporate gifting is becoming more common in the UK, with companies buying thank you gifts at Christmas for staff and customers alike. These items may well be promotional products, the likes of which can also be used for events and marketing, but can also be items along the lines of vouchers and gift cards.
Rewarding staff for a year of hard work at Christmas has obvious benefits; staff feel that their contribution to the business has been recognised and corporate gifts are a lovely way for companies to embrace the festive season.
Rewarding your customers though, is probably something new to lots of companies. Thanking customers for their loyalty and custom over the year with corporate gifts is a great way to make sure that you are top of the list for their next purchase.
Here at Lands’ End we thank our staff (and our customers) in lots of different ways at Christmas! Why not take a leaf out of our book and thank yours with some of our ideas below?
Autumn Corporate Clothing

Autumn seems to have kicked in and the view from our office is misty and miserable.
Whilst the chillier weather makes us think of hot cups of tea and snuggling under a Thermacheck throw after work, it also gets us thinking about how to update our work wear for the weather. Here’s our guide to adding items to your staff uniform for when the temperatures drop…
If you are working outside for long periods, good quality coats are a must for your uniform. A fleece lined coat with a hood is the perfect addition to your staff uniform and the good news is that keeping warm and dry doesn’t need to be at the expense of style- our Outrigger coats are smart, stylish and come in a range of colours.
